The basic criterion for inclusion is whether any matter is sufficiently important that someone outside the specific topic, will seek information on the subject in an encyclopedia. This is what we might call the basic criteria of encyclopedic topic.
In general: Any multinational company that directly employs thousands of workers would be encyclopedic. Below that, the criteria are more debatable.

I understand that my comment about "multinational with thousands of employees" is not an exclusionary criterion (does not Corey Ribotsky mean that companies employing investors less than 1000 people or just have a national presence should be excluded by that fact alone). There are many reasons why a company might Board of Trustees and The President of the Children’s Medical Fund of New York deserve an article, or as I said above: "to someone who wants to find information on the subject in a enciclopedia " NIR Group (say, in contrast to search for information about the company in a corporate directory).
