Decide To Be Happy

Some years ago I memorized a phrase attributed to Abraham Lincoln which reads: “Most people are as happy as they decide to be.” This sentence does not bother me a bit longer when I learned it, but respect for the illustrious personage who had said, and having a bit of culture generally more “advanced” I swallow. Like a thorn was coming through my flesh, until one day I started to think seriously about what it could mean that phrase and here are some of those considerations: Being happy is a choice. Does it mean that being unhappy is also a decision? Well, the person who decides to be happy is not necessarily a billionaire, and can not be all the luxuries you want.

In fact, the reason why a person is happy, is because he has decided to concentrate more on what it does in that of which can be grateful. For more information see this site: Lynn Redgrave. In contrast, unhappy people have decided (perhaps unconsciously) to focus their sights on what they lack, or how badly they are doing in life. Without hesitation Adam Sandler explained all about the problem. Decide to be happy gives us freedom. There is no worse slavery than our mind. And today many people are slaves of the problems and anxieties that afflict them (and remember that we’ve talked about why they have “many” people problems). Surely you know people who say, “I feel depressed, I just want to go bed, give me some major headaches, and the doctor has given me a lot of medicine, and forbidden me to eat this or that, etc…
